Rincón Emigrante Canario
Maybe this isn’t the time or place to dive into the full history of the Canary Islands, but all you really need to know is that the Canaries are a land of emigrants. There’s a reason Venezuela used to be called the eighth island (at least until La Graciosa was officially added to the list).
So, who we are today is the legacy of those who left. ❤️
If you’re curious, you can always check out Wikipedia for more.
When the Government of the Canary Islands wanted to create a space where all those Canarians living abroad could stay connected and celebrate their traditions, I was lucky enough to be put in charge of the whole project — from writing the content, producing videos and interviews, to building the website. The project’s still going strong, and honestly, that makes me really happy. It’s also pretty cool to see some of the stuff I made showing up on TV and other media!
We’re more than just a place…
Our identity is rooted in our land, but when the bond between a place and its people runs deep, you carry a piece of it with you — no matter how far you go
Arona Ahora
Arona, one of the main tourist hotspots in Tenerife, was hit hard by the pandemic. So when the time came to prepare for the end of restrictions and the return of tourism, they wanted to be ready — and I was lucky enough to lead the entire project.
From the initial concept to the full development and every piece that came with it.
«Ahora ahora» and the whole idea we created even made it to FITUR, and since it was a project for home, that made it all the more special. So yes — very happy over here.
The time is now, and the place is Arona
Talent Highway
Mercedes hosted a hackathon to find Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts for their Advanced Analytics IT Hub.
The challenge? To come up with a new product or service for the brand using data as the foundation.
My role was to make sure people signed up — which meant I had to:
- Write all the copy for the website and build it in WordPress (you can check it out here)
- Develop the communication strategy for social media and press
- Create and manage the paid media campaigns on Meta and Google to make sure we hit the registration target (Spoiler alert: we absolutely crushed it ?)
If you want to see more from the project, here’s a link to a teammate’s website (if you’re looking for someone super creative and an absolute beast in all things audiovisual — this is your person).
Oriocx
Mountain footwear is what allows us to enjoy the mountains — or in other words, to conquer them.
The relationship between humans and the mountains has evolved over time.
Brands like Oriocx have helped turn the mountain — once seen as the realm of gods or demons — into a place of joy and adventure.
Technology has transformed that experience, and that’s exactly what’s captured in the video and all the social media content that came out of it.
Where humanity and nature come together
Innomakers4Health & Sacyr iChallenges
For the 2022 editions of the Pfizer and Sacyr events, I was responsible for the creation and management of all content — both organic and paid — including budget handling and the launch of paid campaigns on social media (mainly Instagram and LinkedIn) and Google. This involved audience segmentation, budget allocation, A/B testing, performance monitoring, reporting, and more.
Another key part of my role for both events was conducting interviews with participants and company representatives, as well as preparing pre- and post-event press releases and providing live coverage on social media during the events.
Worth mentioning: all campaign goals were successfully achieved (otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading this here ?).
Zycle
Zycle is a brand specialized in indoor cycling — a discipline that surged in popularity during the pandemic. The idea was to tap into this trend by showcasing just how realistic the simulation experience can be with their products, bringing the feel of outdoor cycling indoors.
The challenge was to do it all through a video — conveying the benefits of this discipline and the performance of the equipment purely through visuals, while also capturing the brand’s spirit.
